Brilliant Waltz
The light installation created by artist C999 transforms Cortile della Pilotta into a great ballroom. The music is Verdi’s with the famous brilliant waltz that Nino Rota orchestrated for the film Il Gattopardo by Luchino Visconti. The lights switch on, the notes fill the air and everything around is a music box of luminous couples. Each note invites you to pause for a moment, to take a break from the frenzy of everyday life with the hint of a dance step. The spin of a waltz, the time of a dream.

Installation will be rescheduled every evening until 22 October 2017, at 8:00pm, 9:00pm, 10:00pm and 11.00pm0.
During the staging of tStiffellio at Teatro Farnese (Saturday 30 September, Friday 6 October, Friday 13 October, Saturday 21 October) performances will be at 8:00pm, during the interval, about 9:30pm, and at the end of the work, about 11.00pm.
