Visit the Teatro Regio
Discover the Teatro Regio and its rich history visiting the Foyer, the Sala, and the Ridotto with 30 minute guided tours available in Italian, English, and French. Group reservations are recommended and we note that the route taken does not present any architectural barriers for those with mobility issues. Shouldrehearsals or performances be taking place, some areas may not be accessible and the guided tours may be suspended; we therefore ask that you contact us to ensure availability on the day and time you wish to arrive.

Guided tours will not take place on the following holidays: 1, 6, 13 January; 25 April; 1 May; 2 June; 1 November; 8, 25, 26 December. The guided tours are suspended during performances, rehearsals or autidions.
Tours run every 30 minutes from the times indicated.

The workshops of the tailors and set designers, the dressing rooms, and the stage, reveal themselves to the passionate and curious. The tour, which also includes the Foyer, the Sala, and the Ridotto, is available upon booking for groups of 2 to 25 people and lasts around 1 hour 30 minutes. The route may pose some difficulties to those with mobility issues.

The organ at the Regio
A special tour, available upon booking for groups of 12 to 25 people, to discover the antique organ on stage at the Teatro, built in 1853 by the Frattini brothers; Aurelio and Giuseppe. The tour, which also takes in the Foyer and the Sala, concludes with a few period songs performed on the organ by the Accademia Organistica di Parma.

The Regio Quiz!
Team game for middle school students (11 to 14 years)
Discover the secrets of the Teatro Regio and challenge your classmates to The Regio Quiz!, the team game dedicated to middle-schools. After having completed the guided tour of the Theatre, students will challenge each other by answering randomly drawn questions in relation to topics including: the Teatro Regio and its history, opera performances, the life of Maria Luigia, and Guiseppe Verdi and his operas. But watch out for the “unexpected”, like whistles from the gallery or the singer without a voice. The team with the highest score will win tickets, theatre prizes, and an open curtain applause!
The guided tour and quiz lasts around 1 hour and 40 minutes.
The secrets of the Teatro Regio
A playful tour for kindergartens
A tour dedicated to children aged 3 to 6 who, with their classmates or with their family, look for mysterious objects backstage, in the wardrobe area, in the theatre, and the Royal Box, to then bring them to the big trunk in the Foyer.
The tour lasts around 50 minutes.
Do you know the Regio?
A playful tour for primary schools
Discover the Teatro Regio and its secrets! A guided tour for children aged 6 to 10 who, divided into teams, have to piece together the big puzzle of the Sala of the Regio in order to win tickets and theatre prizes.
The tour lasts around 1 hour.
Regio for the family
Dedicated to families for special occasions, these guided tours, available upon booking, let you experience the emotion of discovering an enchanted place with mum, dad, and grandparents. And at the end, there’s an afternoon tea basket containing further surprises.
