Born in Burgos, he studied and perfectioned his musical abilities in Switzerland and in the United States, working with professors like Dennis Hall, Carlos Montané and Nicolai Gedda. During his career he has worked in the greatest theatres and in Europe and all over the world, working among the others with conductors like Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Anton Guadagno, Pinchas Steinberg, Bruno Bartoletti, Alberto Zedda. Among the roles in his repertoire it is possible to remember: Mephistopheles in Faust and in La damnation de Faust,  Don Giovanni and Leporello in Don Giovanni, Dulcamara in L’elisir d’amore, Sparafucile in Rigoletto, Colline in La Boheme e Scarpia in Tosca.
