A sensorial journey towards opera and colours, forms, materials and languages conceived for a newborn. La Cenerentola narrates of a little girl facing a rivalry between siblings, living in constant fear of being overcome and of not being able to conquer her parent’s esteem. Nevertheless, Cenerentola is a strong and visionary heroin. In solitude, she learns how to turn small things into great adventures, to observe and listen, and to love rhythm. It is music to lead her towards change and transformation. That’s right: not a prince, but the beauty of a dream, the strength of a desire. On a summer day, Cenerentola wins her sadness and overcomes her sisters; she even tries to trick her father in order to reach the esteem she deserves. Cenerentola is now lonely, a winner, with music just for her, but the rivalry suddenly vanishes as she realizes her wish, re-discovering the love for her father and sisters: they become four single notes forever united in a wonderful quadruplet.
