Closure to the public
The Teatro Regio di Parma will be closed to the public from June 3rd to September 2nd PNRR works.
Ticketing, guided tour and bar services are therefore suspended.
Tickets are available online at www.teatroregioparma.it, no commission fees.
The Bookshop will remain open starting June 5th from Monday to Friday (9 am – 5 pm).

Guided tours and bookshop
È possibile scoprire il Teatro Regio e la sua storia, visitando il Foyer, la Sala e il Ridotto attraverso un percorso guidato, in italiano e inglese, della durata di circa 30 minuti. I gruppi sono invitati a prenotare. Il percorso non presenta barriere architettoniche. In caso di prove o spettacoli, alcuni spazi potrebbero non essere visitabili e le visite guidate potrebbero essere sospese; vi invitiamo pertanto a contattarci per verificare le disponibilità.

Bookshop
The Bookshop of the Teatro Regio di Parma is located at the entrance of the theater and has been run by the Azzali family, long-standing publishers of the city. Here you can buy unique objects as a present for someone you care about or for yourself.
You will find the new merchandising collections of the Regio, the editorial productions of the theater, booklets, CDs, DVDs, items related to music, playbills and posters of operas and shows, postcards, magnets and a wide range of gadgets.
A perfect place where you can find and take home a unique souvenir of Parma and its Theater.

Backstage Tours
The workshops of the tailors and set designers, the dressing rooms, and the stage, reveal themselves to the passionate and curious. The tour, which also includes the Foyer, the Sala, and the Ridotto, is available upon booking for groups of 2 to 25 people and lasts around 1 hour 15 minutes. The route may pose some difficulties to those with mobility issues.

The Regio Quiz!
Team game for middle school students (11 to 14 years)
Discover the secrets of the Teatro Regio and challenge your classmates to The Regio Quiz!, the team game dedicated to middle-schools. After having completed the guided tour of the Theatre, students will challenge each other by answering randomly drawn questions in relation to topics including: the Teatro Regio and its history, opera performances, the life of Maria Luigia, and Guiseppe Verdi and his operas. But watch out for the “unexpected”, like whistles from the gallery or the singer without a voice. The team with the highest score will win tickets, theatre prizes, and an open curtain applause!
The guided tour and quiz lasts around 2 hours.

The secrets of the Teatro Regio
A playful tour for kindergartens and primary schools
A tour dedicated to children aged 3 to 10 who, with their classmates or with their family, look for mysterious objects backstage, in the wardrobe area, in the theatre, and the Royal Box, to then bring them to the big trunk in the Foyer.
The tour lasts around 50 minutes.
