Presentation of the book and show for children by Cristina Bersanelli
The recently published book Giuseppe Verdi, il Cigno di Busseto, becomes a show for children with the reading of the author Cristina Bersanelli, alternating with musical performances of Solisti di Accademia Verdiana. From his first assignment as an organist at Roncole to his failed admission test at Conservatoro di Milano, passing by his marriage with Giuseppina Strepponi, till the great successes of Nabucco, the construction of Villa Sant’Agata and the project of Casa Verdi, with an eye also on the activity of the Club dei 27 and more. In Giuseppe Verdi, il cigno di Busseto, the show inspired by the book by Cristina Bersanelli with illustrations by Patrizia Barbieri and published by Teatro Regio di Parma, the great composer presents himself to children by walking them through his long and adventurous life and glorious career. The show summons the characters, the anecdotes and curiosities which contributed to transform an ‘ugly duckling’ from the lowlands of the Bassa parmense into the splendid swan known by the entire world up until the present.

Verdi Off in Safety
This special edition of Verdi Off has been conceived and realized in accordance with the safety and health normative for both audience and artists. At the entrance of every venue all participants will find sanitizing gel distributors, and they will be checked with a thermoscanner to monitor their body temperature. The audience is required to bring a mask, to avoid crowding and to respect the one-metre social distancing. The mask needs to be worn by covering both mouth and nose during access, exit and the whole duration of the performance. Before leaving the seats, we invite you to wait for the signal of our staff and their directions in order to avoid unwanted crowding. Reservations are necessary only when requested by following the instructions related to the single events. In order to reserve a seat, it is necessary to provide a telephone number or email address, which will remain stored for 14 days. Reservations are to be made under a single name (it is not allowed to reserve more seats under a unique name) and any nominal change has to be communicated to the ticket office in order to be valid. As the staff will be checking the correspondence between tickets headers and holders at the entrance of every show, please provide a valid identification document in a timely fashion.
