Born in Catania, Sicily. In June 2007 he made his debut in Elisir d’Amore in Udine and Pordenone. He was the revelation in Donizetti’s Marin Faliero at the Donizetti Festival in Bergamo. Among his recent works there are: L’elisir d’amore at Covent Garden in London, La Bohème in Kassel, Rigoletto at the Covent Garden in London, Tosca in Lima, Rigoletto in Menorca, La Bohème in Houston and Sydney, I due Foscari in Munich and Budapest, Madama Butterfly in Naples and Stuttgart; among future engagements Madama Butterfly in Wien, Nabucco in Parma, La Traviata in Berlin, Naples and Madrid, Faust in Sydney.
