Teatro Regio di Parma participates to the second edition of World Opera Day and shares the meaningful message at the heart of Parma Capitale Italiana della Cultura 2020+21 “La cultura cura” (“The healing culture”). The initiative promoted by Opera Europa will take place on October 25 2020, celebrating the world of Opera by gathering over 200 theatres and festivals from 43 countries together with Opera America and Ópera Latinoamérica.
Teatro Regio di Parma celebrates the World Opera Day with the two videos “Opera, the art of emotions” and “Never without art”, both concepts of Teatro Regio and realized by Doruntina Film. The videos will be central to a wider promotional campaign in favour of the universal, emotional strength of Opera and describe how arid and meaningless our lives would be without art. They will be posted on worldoperaday.com, teatroregioparma.it and on the social media profiles of Opera Europa and of the Teatro Regio di Parma, where anyone will be able to share and comment them by using the hashtags #worldoperaday #loveopera and the official tags of Teatro Regio on Facebook @teatroregioparma and Instagram @regioparma.
